Justin Timberlake fans will soon get to rock their bodies to new music.
During his hometown performance over the weekend in Memphis, Tennessee, he performed his new single “Selfish.”
It’s his first solo single since 2018.
After this past weekend’s concert at the Orpheum Theater, he released a trailer for his upcoming album titled “Everything I Thought I Was.”
The video features Benicio Del Toro’s voice over a scene of a model car driving up to a gas station in a deserted town.
“What do we have here? Oh, that’s a nice car—wait, it’s a model,” Del Toro said. “Did that say JT? Okay, that sunset is definitely not real. Ah, there’s Justin. Why won’t he turn around? What the f**k is he staring at?”
The teaser then cuts to the album title in bright yellow text.
On Monday morning, Timberlake teased a photo to Instagram with the caption, “1.25,” which is when he’s set to drop the single.
The “Cry Me a River” singer is booked and busy.
He’s set to be the musical guest for actress Dakota Johnson when she hosts “Saturday Night Live” on Jan. 27.
