Arizona alt-rock sensation Jimmy Eat World will be on tour all over the planet over the next few months. That includes a major tour with The Offspring. Before all that madness, SoCal has another reason to be excited over the upcoming concert season.
What has the locals excited for is the band returning to the Fox Theater in Pomona for the first time in nearly 15 years! The band is slated to perform on April 10th at the historic theater, two days before they hit the stage at Coachella Festival.

Fronted by guitarist Jim Adkins, with Tom Linton also on guitar, Rick Burch manning the bass, and Zach Lind pounding the drums, Jimmy Eat World recently wrapped up their European tour, which had followed an extensive North American tour with Fall Out Boy.
It’s evident the guys are excited to get back in front of their fans. For everyone is Southern California, the excitement is palpable.
We can expect a hefty serving of songs from the boys as they’re known to perform 20+ tracks each show.
Surely they will perform hits like “The Middle,” “Sweetness,” “A Praise Chorus,” “The Authority Song,” and “Bleed American.” But they never fail to give the diehard fans deep cuts like “Goodbye Sky Harbor” and “Hear You Me.”

Opening up the night will be Glixen, a shoegaze band who also originates from Arizona. Clearly the decision is an indicator that Jimmy Eat World values its roots and looks to give back to the scene that nurtured them in their formative years.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to catch Jimmy Eat World at the Fox Theater on April 10th! On August 29th, you can catch them at the Kia Forum with The Offspring.
