It’s time to Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground) when The Jacksons play the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA). See the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees deliver their hits and famous dance moves on Friday, February 24 at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at $65.
One of the most recognizable families in music history, THE JACKSONS transformed the Motown and Pop landscapes with a litany of No. One hits, including ABC, I Want You Back, I’ll Be There, and Rockin’ Robin. Known originally as The Jackson 5 and later The Jacksons, the family band rose to Pop royalty status with its extraordinary musical talent and creative choreography, scoring 17 Top 40 singles, including Never Can Say Goodbye and Dancing Machine. Other hits include Enjoy Yourself, Blame It On the Boogie, Can You Feel It, and State of Shock. The band’s songs ABC and I Want You Back were inducted into the Recording Academy’s Grammy Hall of Fame. To date, the group’s Motown recordings alone have sold more than 200 million.
When the brothers united for The Victory Tour in 1984, it became the highest-grossing concert series ever staged in the United States. The Jacksons were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and honored as BMI Icons in 2008. The group consists of original members Jermaine Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson, and Marlon Jackson.
