Crews will restripe lanes on I-405 to support the 405 Express Lanes construction. This work will require lane closures on I-405 between I-605 and Bolsa Chica Road, as well ramp and connector closures.
Southbound (SB) I-405 lane reductions and ramp and connector closures are anticipated as early as 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, and Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Northbound (NB) I-405 lane reductions and ramp and connector closures are anticipated as early as 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, and Thursday, Dec. 22.
Once restriping has been completed, there will be one carpool lane between Bolsa Chica Road and I-605 through fall 2023.
