COMING SOON! I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector Concrete Pour
Crews will continue pouring concrete for the new I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector. This work will require a 14-hour closure of southbound (SB) I-405 in Costa Mesa.
The closure is anticipated as early as 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, to 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18.

UPDATE! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closures for the New I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector
Crews will continue to construct the new I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector.
This work will require nightly NB I-405 closures between the NB I-405 off-ramp to South Coast Drive and the NB I-405 on-ramp from Fairview.
The NB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, through Wednesday, Sept. 14, and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.

NEW! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closure to Adjust Brookhurst Street Bridge Falsework
Crews will adjust the falsework for the Brookhurst Street bridge over I-405.
This work will require a NB I-405 closure between the NB I-405 off-ramp to Brookhurst and the NB I-405 straight on-ramp from Brookhurst.
The NB I-405 closure is anticipated as early as 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16.

UPDATE! Southbound (SB) I-405 Closures for Ward Street Bridge Construction
Crews will continue to construct the Ward Street bridge deck.
This work will require SB I-405 closures between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Brookhurst Street and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Euclid Street.
The SB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, through Thursday, Sept. 15.

POSTPONED! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closure Friday, September 9, for Restriping
Crews will restripe lanes on the freeway near the Magnolia Street bridge.
This work will require a NB I-405 closure between the NB I-405 off-ramp to Magnolia Street/Warner Avenue and the NB I-405 loop on-ramp from Beach Boulevard.
The NB I-405 closure has been POSTPONED due to the rain.
The 405 Community Outreach Team will provide an update when the closure is rescheduled.

REMINDER! Northbound (NB) I-405 Loop On-Ramp from Harbor Boulevard to Close for Approximately Six Weeks
Crews will close the NB I-405 loop on-ramp from Harbor Boulevard for approximately six weeks as part of project improvements.
The ramp closure is anticipated as early as 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, and is expected to open after approximately six weeks.

NEW! Westminster Boulevard Bridge Closures
Crews will seal joints in the Westminster Boulevard bridge over I-405. This work will require nighttime lane reductions and bridge closures.
Nighttime lane reductions are anticipated as early as 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Wednesday, Sept. 14; and
- Thursday, Sept. 15.
The bridge will be closed between Springdale Street and Willow Lane as early as 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Monday, Sept. 19; and
- Tuesday, Sept. 20.
NEW! Goldenwest Street/Sowell Avenue to Close for Approximately One Month
Crews will close Sowell Avenue at NB Goldenwest for approximately one month so crews can reconstruct the intersection to align with the new Goldenwest bridge.
Activities will include concrete cutting and removal, grading, curb and gutter reconstruction, drainage and electrical work, and paving.
Sowell Avenue is anticipated to close as early as 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, and is expected to open after approximately one month.
UPDATE! Southbound (SB) I-405 Off-Ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard to Close for Approximately One Month
Crews will close the SB I-405 off-ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard for approximately one month as part of project improvements.
The ramp closure is anticipated 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, and is expected to reopen after approximately one month.
REMINDER! Daytime Ramp Closures for Warner Avenue bridge Concrete Pour
Crews will close the NB I-405 off-ramp to Warner and the SB I-405 off-ramp to Warner to pour concrete for the bridge.
The daytime closures are anticipated as early as 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Montecito Channel
REMINDER! Crews are relocating several utilities to continue widening the drainage channel adjacent to homes in the College Park West community.
Utility line relocation is ongoing, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Block wall installation is anticipated to begin in fall 2022.
Crews may access the work zone intermittently along College Park Drive and from the WB SR-22 connector to mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur at night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

North Gate Road
REMINDER! Crews closed North Gate Road to conduct sewer work.
Vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians will be detoured to Golden Rain Road to enter and exit Leisure World.
The closure began Tuesday, July 5, and is anticipated to end this fall.
Sewer work is anticipated 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, for approximately three months. Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.
Block wall installation for the sound walls is anticipated to begin fall 2022.

Almond Avenue
REMINDER! Crews will continue constructing the sound walls along northbound (NB) I-405, adjacent to Almond Avenue.
Block wall installation began in August and is anticipated to be completed after approximately six weeks.
Construction activities will continue 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.
