UPDATE! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closures for Ward Street Bridge Work Continue
Northbound (NB) I-405 will close between Euclid Street/Ellis Avenue and Talbert Avenue to continue construction of the Ward Street bridge.
The nightly NB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 10, to Wednesday, Oct. 12.

NEW! Southbound (SB) I-405 Closures for the I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector
Southbound (SB) I-405 will close between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Harbor Boulevard and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Bristol Street to continue construction of the new I-405/SR-73 Express Lanes Connector.
The nightly SB I-405 closure are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, to Wednesday, Oct. 12, and again 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14.

NEW! Southbound (SB) I-405 Closures for Springdale Street Bridge Falsework Installation
Southbound (SB) I-405 will close between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Springdale Street and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Westminster Boulevard to install falsework for the Springdale bridge.
The SB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 12;
- Thursday, Oct. 13*; and again
- 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
*SB I-405 will be closed between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Springdale Street and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Center Avenue/Beach Boulevard for Springdale bridge falsework installation as well as restriping the freeway.

UPDATE! Euclid Street Lane Reductions for Center Median Work
Crews will construct the center median on Euclid Street between Newhope Street and Mt. Washington Street.
This work will require Euclid to be reduced to two lanes in each direction at Newhope. The left-turn lane from southbound Euclid to eastbound Mt. Washington Street will also be closed.
The extended lane reductions are anticipated as early as 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17.
UPDATE! Brookhurst Street Bridge Concrete Pour
Crews will pour concrete for the new portion of the Brookhurst Street bridge over I-405, during the day, in mid-October.
The 405 Community Outreach Team will provide updates in future alerts.
REMINDER! Northbound (NB) I-405 Loop On-Ramp from Harbor Boulevard Closed for Approximately Six Weeks
Crews closed the NB I-405 loop on-ramp from Harbor Boulevard as part of project improvements.
The ramp closed Monday, Sept. 12, and is expected to open after approximately six weeks.
REMINDER! Southbound (SB) I-405 Off-Ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard Closed for Approximately One Month
Crews closed the SB I-405 off-ramp to Seal Beach Boulevard as part of project improvements.
The ramp closed Sept. 16, and is expected to reopen after approximately one month.

Montecito Channel
REMINDER! Crews are relocating several utilities to continue widening the drainage channel adjacent to homes in the College Park West community.
Utility line relocation is ongoing, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Block wall installation is anticipated to begin later this fall.
Crews may access the work zone intermittently along College Park Drive and from the WB SR-22 connector to mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur at night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

North Gate Road
REMINDER! Crews closed North Gate Road to conduct sewer work.
Vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians are being detoured to Golden Rain Road to enter and exit Leisure World.
North Gate is anticipated to open in late October.

Springdale Street
NEW! Crews will reconstruct the sidewalk on the southeast corner of Westminster Boulevard/Springdale. Activities will include curb, gutter and electrical work.
Pedestrian access will be closed on the southeast corner during construction and a detour will be in place.
Construction activities are anticipated as early as Monday, Oct. 10, through Friday, Nov. 4, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays as needed.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.
