REMINDER! Northbound (NB) I-405/Westbound (WB) SR-22 On-Ramp from Valley View Street Closed for Approximately Two Months
Crews closed the NB I-405/WB SR-22 on-ramp from Valley View Street to accommodate the freeway widening.
The ramp closed Monday, June 6, and is anticipated to reopen after approximately two months.

REMINDER! Southbound (SB) I-405/Eastbound (EB) SR-22 Connector Extended Lane Reduction
Crews will reduce the SB I-405/EB SR-22 connector to two lanes for pavement activity.
The lane reductions are anticipated to begin as early as 10 p.m. Friday, June 10, and will be in place for approximately two months.

COMING SOON! Northbound (NB) I-405 On-Ramp from Brookhurst Street
Crews will close the NB I-405 on-ramp from Brookhurst Street for approximately one month to accommodate the freeway widening.
The ramp closure is currently anticipated for Monday, June 20.

NEW! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closure to Remove Falsework from the Westminster Boulevard Bridge
Crews will continue removing falsework from the Westminter bridge over I-405. This work will require a NB I-405 closure between the NB I-405 off-ramp to Willow Lane/Westminster and the NB I-405 on-ramp from Westminster.
The NB I-405 closure is set for 11 p.m. Monday, June 13, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 14.
NEW! Southbound (SB) I-405 Closure to Remove Falsework from the Westminster Boulevard Bridge
Crews will continue removing falsework from the Westminster bridge over I-405. This work will require a SB I-405 closure between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Springdale Street and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Westminster.
The nightly SB I-405 closure is set for 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 15.
UPDATE! Fairview Road Bridge Closures RESCHEDULED
Crews will begin sealing joints in the Fairview Road bridge over I-405. This work will require nightly Fairview bridge closures between South Coast Drive and McCormack Lane.
The nightly closures are anticipated for 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Monday, June 13;
- Tuesday, June 14; and
- Wednesday, June 15.
UPDATE! Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) I-405 Closures to Install Falsework for the I-405/SR-73 Connector
Crews are installing falsework for the I-405/ SR-73 Connector over I-405.
This work requires NB I-405 closures between the NB I-405 off-ramp to South Coast Drive and the NB I-405 on-ramp from Hyland Avenue and a SB I-405 closure between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Harbor Boulevard and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Bristol Street.
Ongoing closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday.
- Nightly NB I-405 closures are ongoing through Wednesday, June 15, on weeknights.
- The NB I-405/SR-73 connector will also be closed 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Nightly SB I-405 closures are anticipated Thursday, June 9, Friday, June 10, Thursday, June 16, and Friday June 17.
REMINDER! Southbound (SB) I-405 On-Ramp from Bolsa Avenue Closed for Approximately One Month
Crews closed the SB I-405 on-ramp from Bolsa Avenue to accommodate the freeway widening.
The ramp closed Wednesday, May 25, and is anticipated to reopen after approximately one month.
REMINDER! Southbound (SB) I-405 Loop On-Ramp from Harbor Boulevard Closed for Approximately One Month
Crews closed the SB I-405 loop on-ramp from Harbor Boulevard to accommodate the freeway widening.
The ramp closed Monday, May 23, and is anticipated to reopen after approximately one month.

Montecito Channel
REMINDER! Crews have demolished a portion of the sound wall along the westbound (WB) SR-22/7th Street connector, adjacent to the Montecito Channel, behind homes on College Park Drive and are preparing the foundation for the new wall which is anticipated to be constructed summer 2022.
Temporary fencing and sound blankets were installed.
Crews may access the work zone, intermittently along College Park Drive and from the WB SR-22 connector, to mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur at night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Seal Beach Boulevard
UPDATE! Crews will begin installing piles for the Seal Beach Boulevard bridge monument.
Pile installation for the bridge monument is anticipated to begin as early as Thursday, June 9, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for approximately one week.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

North Gate Road
UPDATE! Crews will begin installing piles for the sound wall adjacent to North Gate Road.
Pile installation for the sound wall is anticipated to begin as early as Monday, June 13, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.for approximately two weeks.
REMINDER! Crews will close North Gate Road for approximately two months to conduct sewer work. Vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians will be detoured to Golden Rain Road to enter and exit Leisure World.
Beginning as early as Monday, June 20, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.on weekdays, for approximately three months.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Almond Avenue
REMINDER! Crews are performing electrical work along Almond Avenue. Activities include cutting concrete, excavating, trenching and installing electrical components.
Parking along the south side of Almond will be restricted. Traffic will be maintained in both directions, and flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic, as needed.
Electrical work is ongoing, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is anticipated to continue for approximately two more weeks, on weekdays.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Bolsa Chica Road
REMINDER! Crews restriped lanes and are now conducting center median work on Bolsa Chica Road. This work requires intermittent lane reductions between Westminster Boulevard and the southbound I-405 off-ramp to Bolsa Chica.
Center median activities are ongoing, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., on weekdays for approximately one more week.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Springdale Street
REMINDER! Crews will continue installing piles for the foundation of the center columns for the Springdale Street bridge over I-405.
Pile installation activities are ongoing, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, as needed, and is anticipated to be complete by the end of the week.
This work will also include intermittent nighttime lane reductions on Springdale and Westminster.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Springdale Street
REMINDER! Crews will continue constructing the new traffic signal at the Westminster Boulevard/Springdale Street intersection as part of the bridges’ reconstruction.
Activities include permanent pole foundation work, as well as electrical work. After the temporary signal is complete, crews will begin construction of the permanent traffic signal.
Construction of the permanent signal is ongoing, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, as needed.
This work will also include intermittent nighttime lane reductions on Springdale and Westminster.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Bolsa Avenue

McFadden Avenue
NEW! Crews will close westbound (WB) lanes on McFadden Avenue between approximately Sugar Drive and Vermont Street for wall construction.

Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Fairview Road
NEW! Crews will conduct utility work on Fairview. This work will require nighttime lane reductions on northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) Fairview between the SB freeway ramps and McCormack Lane.
The lane reductions are anticipated for 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. TONIGHT, June 8.
