UPDATE! Slater Avenue Full Bridge Closures Continue
The Slater Avenue bridge will close between Dolphin Street and Starfish Avenue to repair joint seal assemblies.
The bridge closure is anticipated as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, to Friday, March 17.

UPDATE! Southbound (SB) I-405 Closures to Remove Falsework from the SR-73/I-405 Express Lanes Connector
Southbound (SB) I-405 will close between the SB I-405 off-ramp to Fairview Road and the SB I-405 on-ramp from Bristol Street to remove falsework from the SR-73/I-405 Express Lanes Connector.
The SB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 15.

UPDATE! Northbound (NB) I-405 Closures to Remove Falsework from the SR-73/I-405 Express Lanes Connector
Northbound (NB) I-405 will close between the NB I-405 off-ramp to South Coast Drive and the NB I-405 on-ramp from Fairview Road to remove falsework from the SR-73/I-405 Express Lanes Connector.
The NB I-405 closures are anticipated as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, and Thursday, March 16, and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday, March 17.

COMING SOON! Brookhurst Street Bridge Closures
The Brookhurst Street bridge over I-405 will close so crews can remove a super beam from the falsework.

Construction Activities
Montecito Channel
REMINDER! Crews will continue construction activities as part of the drainage channel widening.
Activities include:
- Soil backfill, concrete paving, and installing rock and stone along the channel;
- Final paving of the SB I-405/WB SR-22 connector; and
- Sound wall reconstruction.
Soil backfill, concrete paving, and rock/stone installation is anticipated to begin in mid-2023.
Final paving of the SB I-405/WB SR-22 connector is anticipated for early-to-mid 2023.
Sound wall reconstruction is also anticipated for early-to-mid 2023.
Crews may access the work zone intermittently along College Park Drive and from the WB SR-22 connector to mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur at night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Almond Avenue
UPDATE! Crews have begun removing K-rail along Almond Avenue, and curb restoration is anticipated to begin in the coming weeks.
Activities are expected to continue 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. The 405 Community Outreach Team will provide updates in future alerts.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Springdale Street
REMINDER! Crews have begun reconstructing the sidewalk on the northwest corner of Westminster Boulevard/Springdale Street. Activities include curb and gutter installation and utility relocation.
Pedestrian access will be closed at the crosswalk of the northwest corner during construction and a detour will be in place.
Construction activities began Wednesday, Feb. 8, and are expected to continue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, as needed, for approximately one more month.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

McFadden Avenue
UPDATE! Crews have begun reconstructing the cul-de-sac median on Sugar Drive/McFadden Avenue at Cedarwood Avenue.
Remaining activities include placing mulch.
Activities are expected to continue 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 20, and Tuesday, March 21.
Crews may place cones, and flaggers may be on-site to ensure safe access around the work zone.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Beach Boulevard
REMINDER! Crews are installing the permanent traffic signals at the Beach Boulevard and Edinger Avenue intersection. Activities include electrical work, installing traffic signal poles, as well as restoring the roadway.
Construction activities are anticipated to continue 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, through early to mid-March.
This work will require extended outside lane closures on eastbound Edinger at Beach as well as on northbound Beach at Edinger. The closures will be in place for the duration of the work.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.

Newland Street
NEW! Crews will pour concrete for the Newland Street bridge over I-405.
The activity is anticipated as early as 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16.

Fairview Road
REMINDER! Crews are grading and will begin irrigation and landscaping activities adjacent to northbound (NB) Fairview Road. This work requires intermittent daytime lane reductions on NB Fairview between McCormack Lane and the southbound (SB) I-405 on-ramp.
Activities are expected to continue through mid-March 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, as needed.
Lane reductions are anticipated 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
REMINDER! Crews have begun landscaping the center medians near the Fairview Road bridge. This work may require NB daytime lane reductions.
The intermittent lane reductions are ongoing 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for approximately one more month.
Crews may mobilize equipment as early as 6 a.m., and some activities may occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed.
