Republican Ted Bui announced that he has received the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC in his race for Assembly District 70.

In endorsing Ted Bui, the HJTA-PAC Chairman Jon Coupal said, “We appreciate your strong support for Proposition 13 and excellent service to taxpayers.”

Ted Bui is a Republican small-business man and Fountain Valley City Councilman. He has quickly become the leading candidate in the 70th district.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC and to be known as the top tax-fighter in the 70th Assembly District,” said Ted Bui.

The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association grew out of the campaign in 1978 for the historic property tax relief measure, Proposition 13. HJTA is dedicated to the protection of Proposition 13 and the advancement of taxpayers’ rights, including the right to limited taxation, the right to vote on tax increases and the right of economical, equitable and efficient use of taxpayer dollars.

The 70th Assembly District is a newly drawn Assembly District entirely nested in Orange County that includes the cities of Fountain Valley, Westminster and Garden Grove. It also includes portions of Santa Ana, Los Alamitos, Huntington Beach, Stanton, Seal Beach and Midway City. Ted Bui is considered the strongest candidate to the seat for Republicans in a November election.
