The Honda Center in Anaheim revealed an ongoing $1.1 billion renovation, funded by the Anaheim Ducks owners Henry and Susan Samueli, that will complement the area’s surrounding OCVibe development.

In addition to the $4 billion OCVibe project, the Honda Center is undergoing a complete overhaul of its club and suite options, food and beverage options, entryways and parking.

Updates at the arena began last fall, according to city officials, and will continue in phases until 2027. The project is currently called Honda Center Encore.

“This is more than just an investment in a venue — it’s an investment in Anaheim and the future of Orange County as a global destination for live entertainment,” Bill Foltz, Chief Executive of OC Sports & Entertainment, said in a statement.

Two new general parking garages are slated to open this year. With one more to follow, the three garages will add over 6,000 stalls in total increasing available parking by nearly 60%, according to OC Sports & Entertainment.

Since opening in 1993, the Honda Center has held more than 4,500 events and reported 45 million guests during that time.
