As we prepare for the sixth year publishing OC Sports Zone, we want to make sure all our readers know how to contact us with story ideas and feedback on our coverage.

For stories and questions about editorial content: Owner and editor Tim Burt; timburt@ocsportszone.com

To place an advertisement or become a business partner: Co-founder and director of sales and marketing, Gabriel Calderon: gabriel@ocsportszone.com

Reach us on social media: We’re on Instagram and Twitter; @ocsportszone and we have our own OC Sports Zone Facebook page.

In the first five years, we’ve covered the majority of the high school athletic programs in Orange County and we want to do more in the future.

Our staff consists of one full-time editorial person. We also have free-lancers Fernando M. Donado (photographer) and Tom Connolly (writer) along with photographers Jim McCormack, Mark Bausman and Jim Tomlin who contribute content. We’re able to cover some games in person, but also rely heavily on contributions from those in the community to help us.

Our most common question is, “why isn’t our team being covered?”

If your team isn’t being covered, please drop us an email.

OC Sports Zone, founded on July 15, 2018 is independently owned and funded through the generous support of our partners which allows us to keep the site free for readers and provides funds to offset costs of running the site.

Our regular publication schedule continues in the summer.

We look forward to continuing to cover Orange County sports and we’re appreciative of your support.

TIM BURT AND GABRIEL CALDERON
