Art & Creativity for Healing announces the return of its Palette of Colors fundraiser in-person on Saturday, May 14 at the Lake Mission Viejo Clubhouse. This year’s theme ‘Hats Off to Giving’ will support the nonprofit’s emotional healing programs through art and creative expression for those living in pain, grief, fear or stress.
The late philanthropist and Art & Creativity for Healing supporter Ruth K. Reed will be honored for her ongoing support through the Ruth & Joseph C. Reed Foundation. A fine artist and longtime resident of Seal Beach, Reed started the foundation following the passing of her husband Dr. Joseph C. Reed in 2012 to invest in nonprofit art programs and preserve fine art “through the eyes of children.”
Art & Creativity for Healing’s largest fundraiser of the year, the event features an expansive silent auction including many original art pieces.
Thanh Cambaliza, Cambaliza McGee LLP is the event chair and major sponsor while dinner will be provided by Chef James Bermingham of Mirage Event Center. There will be a contest for the most creative hat and dancing to music by DJ Tempoe.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Lake Mission Viejo Clubhouse located at 22555 Olympiad Road in Mission Viejo.
Individual tickets are $150 and a limited number of tables and event sponsorships are available. For tickets or additional information call 949.367.1902 or visit https://art4healing.org/gala.
