Guy Fieri, the celebrity chef and star of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” has announced the headline performers for his inaugural Flavortown Fest, billed as an “action-packed weekend of food, flavor and fun” in Columbus, Ohio.

The festival, planned for June 1 and 2, will take place at The Lawn at CAS, a 54-acre venue by the Olentangy River.

“You’ve been askin’ and we’ve been plannin’ … Flavortown Fest is comin’ to Columbus!” Fieri announced in a release.

Among the musical acts at Flavortown Fest are rockers Greta Von Fleet and country star Kane Brown, who will share headlining duties. Additional performances from Bret Michaels, LOCASH and Niko Moon are also scheduled.

The festival’s official site teases more acts to be announced at a later date.

There promises to be more than just music at Flavortown Fest, of course. The press release teases plenty of “turbo-charged” food, as well as events curated by Fieri and other notable chefs. One of the festival’s areas (“Culinary Stadium”) will also host food competitions, while another stage will feature comedy battles and art demonstrations, according to the release.

Most of these experiences will be situated along a festival thoroughfare nicknamed “Bitchin’ Avenue,” but guests can also explore other areas, including the “Pit Stop,” which is suggested to be a classic-car showcase; “Chill Hill,” proposed as a place to “camp out,” and “Flavortown Beach,” a viewing area apparently covered in sand.

A portion of the proceeds for each ticket sold will go to the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ohio, and the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, according to the site.

Additional details and ticketing information can be found at FlavortownFest.com.

The festival comes as Fieri prepares to open a new restaurant this spring in Columbus, a yet-to-be-named Italian concept inside the Scioto Downs racetrack and casino. A Scioto Downs spokesperson said the restaurant will feature “an old-school Italian feel polished with textured glass screens, rustic wood finishes, an open pizza & pasta prep station and gallery walls.”
