A revised schedule for the final days of the Ryan Lemmon Invitational will include many games all day on Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3 at the Great Park and three baseball fields in Irvine.
Games start at 8 a.m. with the last ones at 8:15 p.m. each day.
Weekend rains washed out the entire schedule for Saturday and most of Monday, prompting tournament director Dick Owens to come up with a revised schedule for the final two days.
Due to all the rainouts, there will not be a tournament champion this year, Owens said, adding that a few games could be played on Thursday.
As part of the makeup schedule, Irvine, Woodbridge and University baseball teams will have doubleheaders with games at the Great Park and their high school fields including Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
It’s the largest field in tournament history with 36 teams participating. The Ryan Lemmon Foundation sponsors the event.
