Free Rein Foundation is hosting Hug and Groom on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center. There will be limited space, and snacks and water are included. Come and learn, hug, and groom our horses! There is fun for all and this event is open to the public.

Meet ~ Groom ~ Hug our Horses

  • 8 horses participate in the event
  • All are rescue and therapy horses
  • Proceeds go to feeding the horses
  • Free snacks and fruit
  • Hug & Groom gifts and merchandise for sale
  • Fresh air and sunshine
  • Masks optional
  • The event happens rain or shine – every first Sunday of the month
  • All parking at Ellis St parking lot (follow signs and arrows)

Playful Mustangs, a feisty thoroughbred and a big white mule among others you may meet and hug at this event

Tickets: $20 Adults, Kids 3-14 $18, Under 2 yrs old Free
**ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CARE AND FEEDING OF RESCUED HORSES**

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Our volunteers will be there guiding you through the introductions!
  • There will be a limited number of people in each group so that everyone can interact with our horses safely.

Parking: 6956 Ellis Street, Huntington Beach, CA

What to Expect:
Parking: Park your car off the Ellis Street entrance parking lot.

You will be directed to walk up through the field and up to the Free Rein Pastures. The path is hilly and not easy for strollers.
Wear clothing and shoes for dusty pasture.

Strollers and Wheelchairs are difficult to bring up the trail–just be prepared!
