ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2023) — This weekend more than 1,000 people are expected to get free medical, dental and vision care at the Anaheim Convention Center on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

The Anaheim Health Fair, now in its 17th year, will bring together hundreds of doctors, other healthcare professionals and volunteers offering free services to attendees, including many who don’t have health insurance or regular access to healthcare services.

For some, the health fair is their only chance for annual vision and dental care.

This event also includes a citizenship fair with application help, legal advice and other assistance for those seeking to become U.S. citizens.

The citizenship fair helps those just getting started with the process or those with applications already underway.

We know how important our health is but getting access to healthcare is not always easy. The health fair is an annual Anaheim tradition that brings the city and healthcare providers together to help those in need of healthcare.

A range of healthcare services are available, all at no cost, including:

Physicals, electrocardiograms and hearing tests

Diabetes, cholesterol and other blood testing

Mammograms and pap smears

Dental fillings and extractions

Eye exams and prescription glasses made onsite

Flu shots and vaccines

The Anaheim Health Fair takes place Saturday, Sept. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held in Hall E of the Anaheim Convention Center with free parking accessible off West Street south of Katella Avenue.

Registration is encouraged and can be done at Anaheim.net/healthfair.
