The City of Irvine will host a series of community meetings in June to gather input on the next phase of planning for the Irvine Public Library system. These meetings will offer an opportunity for residents to provide feedback on priorities such as potential locations, facility design, and the types of spaces that best serve the community’s needs.

As Irvine continues to grow and evolve, community input will play a key role in shaping library services that reflect a shared vision for learning, access, and connection. The City encourages all residents to take part in the process and contribute to planning spaces that support discovery and engagement for years to come.

The community meetings will be held on the following dates from 6 to 7:30 p.m.:

  • Monday, June 2 – Deerfield Community Center, 55 Deerwood W.
  • Wednesday, June 4 – Las Lomas Community Center, 10 Federation Way
  • Thursday, June 5 – University Research Park, 5301 California Ave., Cypress Room
  • Monday, June 9 – Stonegate Elementary School, 100 Honors
  • Wednesday, June 11 – Lakeview Senior Center, 20 Lake Road
  • Thursday, June 12 – Portola Springs Community Center, 900 Tomato Springs

Each meeting will feature a short presentation followed by an interactive discussion, offering community members a chance to share ideas that will help shape a clear and innovative long-term plan for the Irvine Public Library system.
