Kick start your summer together as a family at one of our upcoming special events! Join us as we celebrate July Parks Make Life Better Month! Enjoy free pick up sports, Park Fitness Takeover, Mini Family Day, Park Pop Ups and a Dog Park all month long.
Park Fitness Takeover
Join us for the Park Fitness Take over with Tribe Functional Fitness on July 9, 2022, at 7:30am. The Park Fitness takeover is part of the City of Los Alamitos Parks Make Life Better Month. Tribe Functional Fitness will be creating a workout to get your body moving. This is a Free event for all ability levels.

Pop Up Dog Park
Our Los Alamitos Dog Park is Back this July only, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.! Located at Laurel Park on the corner of Katella Ave and Bloomfield Ave.
Flower Seed Giveaway
Celebrate Parks Make Life Better Month and drop by the Community Center (10911 Oak St.) to get your flower power on! Seed packages will be available for pickup throughout the month of July.
Included: Wild flower seed packets and care instructions.
Free Pick-Up Sports
Basketball: 8:30-10 pm on July 5, at Oak Gym
Volleyball: 8:45-10 pm on July 7, at Oak Gym
Mini Family Day
Come and enjoy Mini Family Day with a concert in the park! Mini Family Day will take place at Little Cottonwood Park, 4000 Farquhar Avenue, from 5-6 pm on July 21, 2022. Activities include a nerf war zone, donut eating contest, an obstacle course, and family craft.
