2026 Tour Coming to Honda Center
September 16th, 2025 by Shane Pase
The year isn’t over yet, but Duran Duran have already set the tone for 2026. The new wave icons just announced a short West Coast run that opens December 30th at Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms and closes January 9th at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, CA. The jaunt will feature stops in Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, and Anaheim in between. For fans on the West Coast, it’s a chance to turn the holiday season into a full-blown celebration.
The timing isn’t accidental. Earlier this summer, the band’s “Greatest” compilation finally got its first-ever vinyl release, offering 19 of their most-defining cuts on a format that fans had been craving for decades. It was a reminder of just how many hits Duran Duran have delivered across their career—from the MTV-era staples that broke them globally to the sophisticated ballads that cemented their staying power.

Pair that with the news that they’ve been back in the studio with Nile Rodgers, and it’s clear this tour isn’t just about nostalgia. Rodgers has been part of their story before, helping shape some of their biggest songs. Whether or not new material surfaces during these shows, the creative spark is undeniable.
Musically, fans can expect a career-spanning set that balances the essentials with a few surprises. Songs like “Rio,” “Hungry Like the Wolf,” and “Ordinary World” remain cornerstones, but recent tours have shown the band’s willingness to reach deeper into their catalog.

Their live performances are marked by the polish and precision you’d expect after four decades, but what makes them stand out is the energy—they play with the same conviction as if they’re still out to prove something.
A Duran Duran show always was and still is a visual and auditory spectacle.
Tickets are likely to move quickly. The DD VIP Community presale begins today at 10 a.m. with general on-sale following on Friday.
SoCal fans should mark January 4th (for San Diego) and January 8th (for Anaheim) on their calendars.
Duran Duran has remained a band in motion, constantly reshaping their sound without losing the essence that made them iconic. As 2025 turns into 2026, they’re proving once again why their shows are essential: a blend of timeless hits, showmanship, and an energy that makes arenas feel intimate.
If you want in, don’t wait too long—this is one winter run that will sell out fast, and you’ll want to be in the room when the first notes hit.
