A man draped in an Israeli flag attempted to climb on stage at a Coldplay concert in Athens, Greece last week. It didn’t go well.
The incident, which was captured on video, happened on June 9 at Olympic Stadium.
The band was in the middle of a song when the man rushed the stage and tried to pull himself up by grabbing onto a lighting rig. The rig collapsed, and he fell to the ground, the video shows.
Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin immediately halted their performance.
“Stop, stop, stop,” he shouted as he went to check on the man. Bandmates also rushed to the edge of the stage to assess the situation.
The Independent identified the stage-crasher as controversial Israeli comedian Guy Hochman, who said he broke a rib in the fall.
The concert eventually resumed.
