Although the Evil Elvis, aka Glenn Danzig has repeatedly said in interviews that he hates doing tours, inevitably, every year we see a string of Danzig shows, usually around a week or so long.
This time, Danzig does not disappoint as he brings his eponymous band to LA on March 29th to the Kia Forum in Inglewood.
This heavy metal concert will be one of six West Coast dates in the last week of March.

Also performing as direct support to Danzig will be longtime stoner metal powerhouse band DOWN, featuring Phil Anselmo from Pantera.
Openers include black metal front-man Abbath, (formerly of Immortal), and legendary hardcore group Cro Mags, featuring OG member Harley Flanagan.

This is a metal show not to miss and as always Danzig offers a tour where a variety of heavy music from both punk and metal are represented.
We may just hear a few tunes from “Black Laden Crown” sandwiched between some timeless classics.

This might be the last time we see Danzig live on stage for a while. He has mentioned this a few times in recent interviews.
But, not to worry, he will be back fronting the mic again, this time for his original band, the iconic Misfits, including bassist Jerry Only and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein.
They will be playing both dates of Coachella next month in Indio on April 12th and 19th, along with a host of great artists including Green Day, Bob Vylan, Jimmy Eat World and Viagara Boys.
For the locals, tickets for the Kia Forum are available. Aside Coachella, it’s really hard to say when we may see Danzig again if ever in SoCal.
Get out for this one, it will be living history right in front of us.
