September 19, 2022

 
Pedestrian Check – 12:12 a.m. – 5900 block of Cerritos Ave. – From pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for misappropriation of lost property. He was cited and released in the field.
Vandalism – 10:24 a.m. – 5000 block of Lincoln Ave. – On Sunday at 3:30 a.m., the suspect dismantled the motorized gate chain; damaging the chain and pulleys. The damage was valued at $1500. The subject is also a suspect in a previous burglary case at this business. He was last seen driving a Toyota.
Petty Theft – 11:39 a.m. – 5700 block of Katella Ave. – On 9/15/22 a male, white suspect stole the victim’s
$900 bicycle, a black and purple Liv road bike with a rear license plate “Bubba” and a “F*** Cancer” sticker on it.

September 20, 2022

Vandalism/Burglary – 11:07 a.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – A female and an unknown male broke into her storage unit, which was set for auction after a lack of payment. The female stole miscellaneous tools and personal property. Damage to the door valued at $2000. The suspects were last seen fleeing southbound on Valley View in an older BMW, unknown license plate.
Suspicious Occupied Vehicle Check – 11:10 p.m. – Citrus/Walker – From a suspicious occupied vehicle check,
a male subject was arrested for warrants, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A second male subject was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were cited and released from the station.

September 21, 2022

Domestic Violence – 5:20 p.m. – 9900 block of Holder – Officers responded to listed location regarding a possible domestic violence in progress. Upon arrival the suspect had fled the scene and was not located. The victim had visible injuries to her face and hand, but refused medical treatment. An emergency protection order was granted but not served to the suspect. There is a warrantless arrest for felony domestic violence if the suspect is located. DR 2202778
Traffic Stop – 9:51 p.m. – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a traffic stop, a subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and warrants. He was cited and released in field.

September 22, 2022

Vandalism – 4:50 a.m. – 5000 block of Ball Rd. – While delivering newspapers to the location, the delivery driver observed the front window to the business was smashed. Officers responded and did not locate any suspects in the area. It is unknown if the suspects made entry as it does not appear that anything was disturbed inside.
Robbery Report – 7:16 a.m. – 4900 block of Ball Rd. – At 3 a.m., two male suspects robbed the clerk at gun point, stealing cash. The clerk did not report the incident to the police and did not notify the store owner for several hours. Suspects described as two male blacks, one wearing a white hoodie and one wearing a red hoodie, each with COVID-style masks. Video was obtained.

September 23, 2022

Grand Theft – 4:27 a.m. – 5000 block of Cumberland – Two males in a white BMW hatchback SUV stole the victim’s catalytic converter.  The suspect vehicle was last seen towards Grindlay.  Officers were unable to locate the subjects on an area check. 
Burglary Report – 5:44 a.m. – 6400 block of Katella Ave. – Between yesterday at 2:30 p.m. and today at 5 a.m. unknown suspect entered a locked shipment container and stole 2 Honda generators, 2 soil compactors, and a shop vacuum (value $7890). Tools are marked.
Vehicle Burglary – 6:34 p.m. – 9300 block of Pecan – The victim was most likely followed home after purchasing a Yves Saint Laurant purse from the mall.  The suspects broke the back window and stole the purse while in the house for approximately five minutes.  An area check was met with negative results.

September 24, 2022

Burglary Report – 10:30 a.m. – 5300 block of Katella Ave. – At 5:03 a.m., unknown suspect smashed the front glass door, entered the business, and stole computer/register equipment.
West Comm Event – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Officers attended the 25th anniversary celebration at West Comm and enjoyed great company and delicious food!
Arrest – 2:24 p.m. – 9500 block of Valley View St. – A male subject was arrested for furnishing tobacco to a minor. He was cited and released in the field.

September 25, 2022

Traffic Collision – 6:32 a.m. – Lincoln/Sumner – Vehicle collided into two parked vehicles after the driver fell asleep. Notes were left on the parked vehicles. As of end of shift, no contact had been made from the owners of the parked vehicle, and the vehicles remained on the street damaged.
Traffic Collision – 9:00 p.m. – 9700 block of Graham Street – Officers responded to the location regarding a
vehicle versus a pedestrian traffic collision. A female subject was arrested for homicide; the investigation is still ongoing.
