November 14, 2022
Vandalism – 8:38 a.m. – 10300 block of Belmont – When the foreman arrived to work, he discovered a broken toilet in an apartment on the 3rd floor, which had flooded the entire residence and damaged all three floors.
Burglary – 4:41 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – Sometime in the past month, an unknown suspect stole $5000 worth of jewelry and miscellaneous items.
Residential Burglary – 7:36 p.m. – 9700 block of Pauline Dr. – Between 11-9-22 and today at 7:30 p.m., the victim’s house was ransacked. The point of entry was a back door window smash. The loss was clothing, jewelry, and electronics, valued at $10,000.
November 15, 2022
Bike Stop – 12:10 a.m. – Meridian/Katella – From a bike stop, a male subject was arrested for a felony warrant and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Orange County Jail (OCJ).
Theft – 6:20 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a call of a theft suspect exiting the business
without paying, a female subject was arrested for grand theft, resisting and delaying an officer, and a felony warrant. She was transported to OCJ.
Vehicle Tampering – 9:24 p.m. – 5300 block of Crescent Ave. – Officers were dispatched to the location regarding a possible catalytic converter theft in progress. Upon arrival, police observed a vehicle leaving the location at a high rate of speed. Police also observed a subject run from the scene. Neither the vehicle nor suspect were located.
November 16, 2022
Shoplifting – 2:24 p.m. – 5500 block of Ball Rd. – A subject was arrested for stealing beer from the business. The subject was later cited and released in the field.
Pedestrian Check – 10:54 p.m. – Katella/Knott – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and misappropriation of lost property. He was cited and released in the field.

Stolen Vehicle Report – 7:14 a.m. – Orangewood/Holder – The reporting party reported his vehicle stolen. The vehicle was located in the same location he stated he parked it. The reporting party was adamant the vehicle was stolen and returned. There was no new damage to the vehicle and no surveillance cameras or witnesses.
Grand Theft Report – 1:00 p.m. – 10800 block of Hope St. – Unknown suspect stole the backflow device, valued at $1200.00. No suspect or surveillance.

Pedestrian Check – 1:14 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for an outstanding felony vandalism bench warrant. The subject was absentee booked and transported to OCJ,.
Suspicious Vehicle – 1:37 a.m. – 6600 block of Katella Ave. – An officer was conducting patrol checks of the business districts when he observed a suspicious vehicle. A male subject was arrested for felony vandalism, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being an unlicensed driver.
Petty Theft – 7:11 p.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. – Two female subjects reportedly walked out of the store carrying bags of miscellaneous items and left in a vehicle. The bags of items had an approximate value of $500.
November 19, 2022
Traffic Collision – 12:05 a.m. – 4300 block of Cerritos Ave. – From a call for service of a non-injury traffic collision, a male subject was arrested for DUI.
Sowma Memorial – 10:30 a.m. – 5200 block of Orange Ave. – The Chief of Police, along with the shift, a chaplain, two councilmembers, and the community outreach officer, honored Sgt. Donald Sowma with a memorial.
November 20, 2022
Assist Other Agency – 1:33 p.m. – Seal Beach – Three units assisted Seal Beach Police, OCFA, and OCSD with a large scale evacuation of an apartment complex due to a suspicious package and the bomb squad activity.
Graffiti – 5:04 p.m. – Acacia St./Acacia Ct. – Three juveniles were actively spray painting obscene words on the block wall and fled when officers arrived to make contact. Two were arrested for vandalism and possession of graffiti tools. They were later released to their parents.
