January 15, 2023

 
Occupied Vehicle Check – 9:15 p.m. – 10900 block of Yamaha Wy. – From an occupied vehicle check, a male subject was arrested for possession of Paraphernalia. He was cited and released in the field.
Traffic Stop – 10:45 p.m. – Walker/La Palma – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for a Federal warrant for weapons possession.

January 16, 2023

 
Commercial Burglary – 9:55 a.m. – 5900 block of Ball Rd. – An unknown suspect smashed the front glass door and stole miscellaneous items. The value of the loss was unknown this time.
Shoplifting – 10:42 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service, a subject was arrested for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. The subject was cited and released in the field. 
Shoplifting – 2:29 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Two male subjects were arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy to commit a crime.  The merchandise was returned to the store and both subjects were cited and released in the field.    
Grand Theft – 6:04 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – The reporting party reported multiple suspects entered the business and stole approximately $1,500 worth of high-end hair products and accessories. They were last seen on foot through the parking lot. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.

January 17, 2023

 
Catalytic Converter Theft – 7:49 a.m. – 9700 block of Pauline – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Prius. 
Catalytic Converter Theft – 8:15 a.m. – 11600 block of Midway – Sometime between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. today, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Prius. 
Catalytic Converter Theft – 9:22 a.m. – 6000 block of Cerritos Ave. – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Tacoma. 
Vehicle Burglary – 2:04 p.m. – 10200 block of Tanforan – Sometime between 10 p.m. on Monday and the time of call, and unknown suspect smashed the driver’s side window and stole the victim’s wallet.

January 18, 2023

 
Pedestrian Check – 4:12 a.m. – 9400 block of Valley View St. – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was cited and released in the field.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 10:03 a.m. – 9100 block of Holder St. – Located an unoccupied stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen out of different city and was recovered. 

January 19, 2023

 
Traffic Stop – 12:38 a.m. – Lincoln/Walker – From a traffic stop, a subject was arrested for driving without a license and a second subject was arrested for warrants. They were both cited and released in the field.
Shoplifting – 1:10 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a call for service of a subject who fled after stealing merchandise, a male subject was arrested for shoplifting. He was cited and released in the field.

January 21, 2023

 
Bike Stop – 12:38 a.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – From a bicycle stop, a male subject was arrested for resisting/delaying an officer. Once at the station, he kicked the officer, causing a minor injury. Additional charges of resisting with threat or violence and assault and battery on a police officer were added.
Vandalism – 7:12 a.m. – 9000 block of Candlestick Ln. – Overnight, unknown suspect(s) damaged community mailboxes and possibly stole mail. There was no suspect information.
Burglary Report – 9:16 a.m. – 6000 block of Lincoln Ave. – Overnight, an unknown suspect entered the business via a forced (possibly kicked-in) front door, and pried open a safe, stealing checks and banking account information. No suspect information or surveillance.
