Congressional candidate Scott Baugh praises judicial halt of public health directive Title 42

Congressional candidate Scott Baugh (R-CA47) praised Judge Robert Summerhays of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana for his ruling halting the Biden administration’s plans to lift public health directive Title 42.

“The Border Patrol has apprehended 900,000 migrants at the border since October. In March, 221,303 were stopped. If the Biden Plan to lift Title 42 goes ahead, there will be a surge of 18,000 or more attempting to cross the border every day,“ said Baugh. “The surge at the border reached crisis levels long ago and is growing worse every day. I urge Katie Porter to drop her support for lifting Title 42 and to urge President Biden to do the same,”
