There’s a new King of the Hill in Corona del Mar, and it’s a six-bedroom and nine-bathroom estate at 2201 Bayside Drive.
Newport Beach real estate agent Garrett Weston sold the luxury coastal house for $26 million, marking a new all-time high for a house sold in Corona del Mar.
Weston previously represented a buyer in the sale of a house for $23.4 million in 2023.
The estate at 2201 Bayside Drive was built in 2001 and features a six-vehicle subterranean garage and 50 feet of bay frontage.
Weston said it can also accommodate a 100-foot yacht, “in addition to other vessels and water toys.”
The house is 9,329 square feet and sits on 0.27 acres.
Weston, an agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, represented both the buyer and seller in the off-market deal.
“What makes this home special — being newer construction on the water with the square footage that the home offers and having that size boat dock makes it a rare find,” Weston told the Business Journal. “These significant sales break boundaries and elevate home values overnight for every homeowner in the community.”
Luxury Home Sales on the Rise in CdM
Most homes sold this year in Corona del Mar have ranged between $2 million and $6 million. But the Newport Beach enclave has also seen a few high-priced transactions within the first 90 days of 2025, according to Homes.com.
One of the highest-priced deals was the $13.7 million sale of a five-bedroom, eight-bathroom and 7,581-square-foot estate at 3308 Ocean Blvd. Michael Shank of Compass represented both the buyer and seller in the sale, which closed on Feb. 10.

A 7,488-square-foot house with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms at 4539 Fairfield Drive changed hands in an off-market deal for $18 million in July 2024, per Homes.com and Zillow.com.
More records could be broken this year, as both sites are listing a home at 1119 Dolphin Terrace for $40 million. The 10,255-square-foot house has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
