Are tech companies censoring people or letting misinformation run wild? If you turn on cable news or scroll social media, you’re sure to find plenty of people yelling about the problem, but far fewer really working to solve it… so let’s try something different: sitting down together to hash it out and find real solutions.
Civic Genius is inviting you to do exactly that on April 30. Join us for a day of fun activities and meaningful conversations where you’ll connect with people in your community and find common ground about how the government, tech companies, and individuals can address digital disinformation while respecting free speech.
And you won’t only be there to talk among yourselves. Civic Genius is partnering with the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution to bring your experiences, perspectives, and ideas to a group of national decision-makers who have real power on this issue so that your voice will be heard and you can make a difference.
We will also be joined by two-time Emmy-nominated Executive Producer/Director Riaz Patel for a transformative entertainment experience that will move us beyond our divisions, so we are ready to move forward together and feel hope about our future.
