The City of Los Alamitos Building and Safety Division is proud to announce its new program, Permit Center (provided by CityTech Solutions). This program enhances the customer service experience by expediting the process for permit and plan check submittals. Customers may now submit a permit application, upload any required plan check document and issue payments with a credit card. The City will utilize electronic plan check software, which will allow multiple staff to conduct their reviews concurrently, reducing the overall turnaround time. This added convenience will enable architects, builders and homeowners to realize additional cost savings by reducing the number of trips to City Hall. Of course, the City of Los Alamitos can still be available during business hours to help those who prefer the in-person experience and comfort of having a City Staff provide assistance with any questions or concerns.
