The City of Irvine, in partnership with OCAPICA and Groundswell, will host a training for Irvine residents on How to be an Upstanding Irvine Resident. The training will take place Thursday, October 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.
The training, provided by OCAPICA, will teach audience members to address and de-escalate anti-Semitic, anti-Black, and anti-Asian racist situations through Right To Be’s 5Ds of Bystander Intervention Methodology. Attendees will understand the positive impacts of the Bystander Intervention Methodology on community members.
