SPECIAL VACANCY NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Government Code Section 54974, that an unscheduled vacancy exists in the following City Commission/Committee/Board. Appointments to fill unscheduled vacancies shall be made no sooner than 10 days after posting of this notice.
SENIOR CITIZENS COMMISSION
The Senior Citizens Commission provides recommendations and advice to the City Council on policies, projects, and other matters pertaining to senior citizens programs and services, and the senior center facilities. Commissioners may also be called upon to help promote the senior citizens programs and services, and the senior center facilities.
Applications for this position are currently available on the City’s website at www.cypressca.org/CommissionRecruitment. Interested residents must submit their application via email to [email protected], in person at Cypress City Hall, or via mail to: City of Cypress, Office of the City Clerk, 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630. Deadline to submit an application for consideration is Friday, April 29, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
