Newport Harbor 5, Citrus Valley 1: Sam DiCarlo was the winning pitcher for the Sailors (18-11). He pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing three hits and one run and striking out eight. Joey Wright pitched two innings, allowing one hit and no runs while striking out three. Wright was 1 for 3 with a double and two RBI, Bryce Blaser was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Trent Liolios was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI, AJ Guitron-Moore was 1 for 3, Troy Christiensen was 1 for 1 with two walks and Austin Lueck was 1 for 3.

Tesoro 8, Culver City 2: Tesoro Coach Tony Nieto got his 300th win with the road victory. Joshua Ferry pitched the first 3 2/3 innings, allowing two hits and no earned runs. Nate Molinari was 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBI and Jackson Freeman was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI to lead the Titans (21-8). Tesoro will face Valencia Friday at home in the quarterfinals.
El Modena 2, LaSalle 1: The Vanguards (21-9) earned a trip to the quarterfinals with a win Tuesday. El Modena will face South Torrance Friday. Sophomore Nick Santivanez improved his record to 5-0 to get the win. He pitched six innings, allowiong two hits and striking out three. Nick Audfemberg was 2 for 3, Jack Licata was 2 for 4. Bryan Smaaladen got the save.
DIVISION 5
Citrus Hill 4, Sunny Hills 1
Tustin 4, Knight 3: The Tillers advanced into the quarterfinals Friday at home vs. Temple City. Coach Ben Owens’ team won on a walk-off double by Riley Kelly. Tyler Sandhu threw a complete game to notch the win for Tustin (19-10). He allowed two hits and struck out nine. Abel Castrejon had two hits, an RBI and two walks. Jake Phillips had two hits and two RBI and started the rally in the fourth inning. Kelly had the game-winning hit and Raul del la Riva had two hits, Owens said.

Estancia 6, AB Miller 1: The second-seeded Eagles (25-5) were led by Trevor Scott, who pitched a complete game allowing two hits, one earned run and striking out six. Scott is 9-1.
Miles Moyer was 2 for 3 with two RBI, Scott was 1 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI, Blake Peck was 1 for 2 with a run scored, RBI and a double, James De La O was 1 for 4 with a run scored and Andrew Mits was 1 for 1 with a RBI to lead the Eagles.
Estancia plays Hesperia Christian on the road in the quarterfinals Friday.
