Foodies and friends of the fish are invited to the Aquarium of the Pacific’s annual Sea Fare Chowderfest fundraiser on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sea Fare guests can explore the indoor galleries while sampling hearty chowders, savory bites, fresh baked goods, craft beer, and wine from more than twenty local businesses. There will be live and silent auctions with dozens of items, trips, and experiences. Featured artists Sam Carter, Gina Hsiang, and Sküt will also be creating live Aquarium-inspired pieces of art, all available for bidding.

You can dance the night way and groove to the music of a live band playing the greatest hits in front of the Aquarium’s Honda Blue Cavern exhibit. Guests can enjoy unlimited beer and wine from the bars. The entire Aquarium will be open (except Lorikeet Forest, which closes earlier). “Sea Fare Chowderfest is a celebration of the animals, conservation efforts, and education programs at the Aquarium that help connect the public from adults to students with the ocean and environment. We rely on the support of our loyal donors, members, and community, and we are so grateful for their generosity,” says Ryan Ashton, Aquarium of the Pacific vice president of development. All funds raised will directly support the nonprofit Aquarium’s education, conservation, and animal care programs. Sea Fare tickets are $100 per person. You can visit aquariumofpacific.org/seafare for more information.
