Producers are urgently casting talent for Bright Blue Sky, a touching, heartfelt, and moving original dramatic musical to be presented at the Rose Center Theater September 9 – 18, 2022.

Bright Blue Sky is an original dramatic musical about a group of people on the 104th floor in the North Tower of the World Trade Center on the morning of Sept. 11th, 2001. The characters relive moments from their lives as they grapple with the possibility of not making it out alive. It is ultimately a story of hope, humanity, loss and love.
CASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
Robert
Lead, Male, 40s, Baritone.
A stockbroker living in New York, divorced,
with a 14-year old daughter.
James
Supporting, Male, late 20s-30s. All vocal ranges.
A single, cocky ladies’ man. Ability to do a New York accent a major plus.
Martha
Supporting, Female, Puerto Rican and Dominican, 40s-60s. All vocal ranges.
Mother and Immigrant to the United States. Talent with a Puerto Rican or Dominican accent, a major plus.
VIDEO SUBMISSIONS: Please read below for what is being requested.
Prepare 16 – 32 bars, (approximately 1 minute in length) of a musical theater song of your choosing.

CALLBACKS:
Callbacks are at the invitation of the Producing Team and are currently scheduled for Thursday, Aug 28th at 7 PM.
REHEARSALS:
First Read-Through: Friday, July 29th at 7 PM
Subsequent rehearsal dates to be provided at a later date.
Rehearsals will typically take place at the Rose Center Theater 14140 All American Way, Westminster, Ca 92683.
CONTRACT:
No pay.
