The California Department of Transportation, District 12 is hosting two in-person hiring events in Orange County on Thursday, July 14, in Garden Grove and on Friday, July 15, in Santa Ana. Through Clean California, Caltrans is hiring for nearly 100 positions to help clean and beautify Orange County’s roadsides.
The full-time, permanent positions consist of a variety of roles within the Maintenance and Operations Division, including Service Assistant Maintenance (SAM), highway workers, landscape workers, electricians and equipment operators.
The hiring events provide an opportunity for prospective applicants to learn more about the open positions, meet with Caltrans employees and apply in person.
Career opportunities are available for all Californians, including veterans, students, artists, people experiencing homelessness, and those re-entering society from incarceration.

Expanding the number of Caltrans District 12’s maintenance workers would support Clean California’s ambitious goal of removing litter and beautifying California’s streets and highways.
