The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to have a 55-hour closure on State Route 57 (SR-57) to grind and overlay pavement as part of the SR-57/Lambert Interchange Improvement Project.
A 55-HOUR WEEKEND CLOSURE will begin at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 5, and continue to 5 a.m. on Monday, August 8.
For the duration of the closure, the on-ramps to SR-57 will be closed. Lambert Road will also be fully closed from State College Boulevard to Pointe Drive. The Southbound and Northbound freeway off-ramps will be closed only when setting up and removing the closures.
Detour Routes: The main alternate routes will be Kraemer Blvd., Associated Rd., State College Blvd., Brea Blvd., Imperial Hwy., and Brea Canyon Rd.
Expect heavy delays and alternate routes are encouraged. Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Portable Message Signs will notify drivers of the closure. The work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues.
