On Tuesday, March 21st, 2023, at approximately 4:55pm, a shooting occurred on I-405 northbound, at the Euclid Street exit, in the city of Fountain Valley. The suspect vehicle is reported to have been occupied by a male driver and male passenger (front). The California Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the vehicle and its occupants.
The suspect vehicle appears to be a black, early 2000s model sedan. The license plate is currently unknown. After the shooting, the suspect vehicle continued to exit onto Euclid Street, within the city of Fountain Valley. The suspect vehicle is believed to have been involved in a “road rage” situation with a white 2015 Hyundai Sonata (sedan), prior to the shooting.
