The Tri Ta for Assembly campaign announced receiving the endorsement of California Peace Officers Association (CCPOA).

CCPOA represents all state correctional peace officers working inside California’s prisons and youth facilities, and the state’s parole agents who assist and supervise inmates and wards after their release.

“As the officers who serve on the frontlines of California’s correctional facilities, our members have a personal interest in supporting candidates that make public safety a priority. We are proud to endorse Mayor Tri Ta for Assembly and are looking forward to working with him to ensure the safety of every Californian is paramount,” said CCPOA President Glen Stailey.

I am honored to have received the endorsement of the brave men and women who walk the toughest beat in the state. I look forward to working together to improve California’s correctional system and make all Californians safer,” commented Mayor Tri Ta.

Tri Ta is a father, husband, and current Mayor of Westminster running for election in California’s 70th Assembly District.

Tri Ta’s American Dream started when, seeking political freedom, his family immigrated to the United States from Saigon, Vietnam. Within just a couple of years of arriving here, with hard work and determination, Tri graduated from Cal State Los Angeles.

Tri’s life is an example of what the liberty of the United States can do to impact lives. He wants to make sure every American has these same opportunities… a fair shot… a level playing field. With your help, Tri is excited to continue to serve the people of Westminster, Orange County, and California in the State Assembly.
