Coming to Grove of Anaheim
October 14, 2025 by Amberlee Meyer
Blue Oyster Cult is headed back to Southern California next month and you can experience the rock icons for yourself at the Grove of Anaheim. On November 1st, the legendary rock band that gave us “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” will blow you away with their live show.
Of course, we all know that phenomenal song, perhaps from the radio, but for many, through “Saturday Night Live.” “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” became meme fodder thanks to the hilarious “More Cowbell” sketch with Will Ferrell. It has also ended up in pop culture thanks to multiple appearances in movies and television.
Since forming in Long Island in 1967, Blue Oyster Cult has earned a dedicated following of fans. They are the definition of a working band, playing for hours at a time, and give audiences a night to remember.
Mixing hard rock, heavy metal, and psych rock with fantasy and a touch of the occult, BOC are one of the early influencers of heavy metal, while also garnering mainstream success and radio play. They have been cited as an influence by Metallica, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, White Zombie, The Cult, Queens of the Stone Age, even the current “it” band, Sweden’s Grammy-award winning band Ghost, cite BOC as influences in their own musical accomplishments.
GROVE OF ANAHEIM
November 1st, 2025

With founding member Buck Dharma on guitar and vocals, Eric Bloom on vocals and guitar, Danny Miranda on bass, Richie Castellano on keys and guitar, and Jules Radino on drums, this band is ready to rock any time they hit the stage.
Dharma’s songwriting skills are the force behind the band’s best-known hits, “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” “Burnin’ for You.” These songs are still staples on the radio that will make any lover of hard rock turn up the volume!
The band released their final studio album last year, “Ghost Stories,” which includes “reimagined tracks and lost gems” from their many decades of music.
Concertgoers can expect a full night of favorites with Blue Oyster Cult. It’s a show with history and a setlist of hard-rocking hits!
