Santa Ana – Dispatchers at the OCFA’s emergency command center received multiple calls for smoke coming from an industrial building in the 2600 block of S. Susan Street at 9:50 p.m. on Sunday night.
Engine 77 was the first-arriving crew and found smoke showing from a metal product business.
The firefighters initiated an attack on the fire and confirmed all of the workers were evacuated.
The fire crews were able to knock down the fire in 20 minutes and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the business.
No injuries were reported.
Assistance was provided by the Santa Ana Police Department, Fountain Valley Fire Department, and Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue.
The OCFA did not comment on the suspected cause of the fire.
