A DUI driver was arrested in Tustin last night, near the Tustin Community Bank, at El Camino Real and Newport Ave., according to the Tustin Police Department.
The driver somehow maneuvered his car onto the median and it got stuck there.
There are quite a few restaurants and bars in that area which is near Old Town Tustin.
The DUI suspect most likely caused serious damage to his car’s undercarriage. The car appears to be a black Ford Mustang GT. The value of a used Ford Mustang GT can vary significantly based on factors like model year, condition, mileage, and trim level, but generally, you can expect to find them ranging from around $16,000 to over $40,000.
In California, a DUI accident with no injuries is still taken very seriously. Here are the key penalties you might face:
- Misdemeanor Charge: Typically, this offense is charged as a misdemeanor.
- Jail Time: You could face jail time ranging from a few days up to six months.
- Fines: Fines can range from $390 to $1,0002.
- License Suspension: Your driver’s license could be suspended for up to six months.
- DUI Education Programs: You may be required to complete a DUI education program.
These penalties can vary based on the specifics of the case and any prior DUI convictions.
