Wil Ladd, an instructor at N10 Dance Studios, in Tustin, is recovering from a “senseless attack” in the drive-thru of a Taco Bell in Irvine.
According to a GoFundMe page supporting Ladd, he was violently assaulted by a group of teenagers.
“The assailants, a group of teenagers, became inflamed by the fact that Wil was wearing pink sunglasses, spawning a violent assault on him through his window and even pulling him from his vehicle to beat him further. Together they spit on him, broke his jaw, gave him a black eye, and impaled the back of his head, creating a huge wound.”
Since the brutal attack Ladd has had to undergo extensive surgeries, root canal, and braces to correct the damage caused by this assault. This hate crime could not have been perpetrated on a less deserving soul!
Ladd has 14 years of experience in dance and fitness training, instructing, and performing in southern and western regions across the US. Additionally, Wil has been doing commercial work for Film and TV, Music Videos, Industrials and Commercials; and dancing for Nashville’s first Contemporary Dance Company “Found Movement Group,” according to his online bio.
While staying busy in professional dance he still found time for college, teaching, and choreography; during Ladd’s college career his choreography was chosen to represent Austin Peay at ACDFA Upon graduation, he received the prestigious “Outstanding Senior Dancer” at APSU as well as “Outstanding Male Dancer”. Over the years he has proudly received numerous choreography awards from StarPower, Masquerade, Applause Talent, Kids Artistic Revue, and Nexstar mostly for his Contemporary choreography. Currently Ladd is continuing to teach kids and adults throughout Orange County that it’s all about Peace, Love & Dance.
