Newport Beach’s five-star, five-diamond The Resort at Pelican Hill invites golfers to hit the newly restored South Course at the award-winning Pelican Hill Golf Club for the second annual Play Yellow Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. Hosted in partnership with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the tournament will bring together Pelican Hill’s golf community and partners for a meaningful day on the course, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Rady Children’s Health and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
This year, the Resort has set an ambitious $125,000 fundraising goal to support local children and families.
Players will compete in an 18-hole, four-person scramble across Pelican Hill’s newly restored South Course, now featuring reimagined bunkers and reopened ocean sightlines that enhance the coastal golf experience.
The day will begin with a welcome breakfast bar, along with food and beverage stations throughout the course, premium tee gifts for every player, and an optional Play Yellow Ball Challenge. Following the round, guests will gather for a post-round dinner reception featuring an awards ceremony and silent auction.
The tournament comes at an exciting moment for Pelican Hill Golf Club, coinciding with the final phase of its comprehensive course restoration ahead of the North Course debut this November.
Foursomes are available for $6,000 and include four players, premium tee gifts, breakfast, on-course food and beverage, and the post-round reception.
