VidCon, the convention for visual entertainment media such as YouTube and TikTok and its digital creators, will be held in Nashville next year after almost 14 years at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The organization has partnered with LIONS, the group responsible for the Cannes Lions marketing industry festival in France, to launch a new iteration of the event called VidCon x LIONS Creators in fall 2027.
“By combining VidCon’s deep-rooted relationships across the creator economy with LIONS’ unparalleled industry authority and global reach, we’re creating unprecedented opportunities for creators to build their careers, for brands to forge authentic partnerships, and for the entire ecosystem to shape what’s next together,” VidCon’s VP and Business Lead Sarah Tortoreti said in a statement.
VidCon has been held in Anaheim since 2012, except for 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic restrictions. The annual event previously attracted up to 75,000 visitors at the convention center; since its return in 2022, attendance has reached over 55,000.
