RJI CPAs Chairman Manuel J. Ramirez, CPA, MST, FABFA, has been appointed to the PCAOB’s newly formed Inspections Modernization Council, one of just 12 professionals selected nationwide. Ramirez will advise the Board on modernizing its inspection program to strengthen audit quality for public companies.
This appointment, which follows Ramirez’s service as President of the California Board of Accountancy and his recognition by Forbes, reflects RJI’s commitment to upholding rigorous standards, independence, and accountability to the investor’s that public-company audits protect, while offering an opportunity to contribute to strengthening inspection processes and financial statement integrity.
