Highly Anticipated Return
“Make them laugh, make them cry, make them wait.” Barnes & Noble quoted Charles Dickens on its Instagram post teasing the summer opening of the bookstore, along with its signature B&N Cafe, in the Macy’s Home wing of South Coast Plaza. And we were happy to wait for its return (the company used to have a location at nearby Metro Pointe). After all, the shopping center hasn’t had a bookstore since Borders went out of business some 15 years ago.
