Fashion Island is inviting guests to slow down and tune in as we ease into summer. The open-air shopping destination is launching Sound Waves, a new wellness-focused social hour designed to blend relaxation, ritual, and immersive sound therapy beneath the coastal sky.
Debuting May 31 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Neiman Marcus–Bloomingdale’s Courtyard, the inaugural experience, led by Rana, owner of Alchemy Bowls, promises a restorative evening centered around a guided sound bath timed with the blue moon. Part of Fashion Island’s expanding wellness initiatives, the ongoing series aims to create a deeply calming escape within the center’s expansive outdoor setting while introducing guests to an elevated ceremonial tradition that combines sound and mindfulness.
Each Sound Waves session begins with a 15-minute welcome ritual before flowing into a 45-minute guided sound bath designed to calm the mind and awaken the senses. A 15-minute closing meditation rounds out the evening, allowing participants to fully settle into the experience before returning to the bustle of daily life.
To encourage complete relaxation, each ticket includes a curated comfort setup featuring a yoga mat, throw blanket, pillow, silk eye mask, and Boxed Water. The event is open to guests 18 and older.
Space is limited and reservations are required. General admission tickets are $50, but readers can use the code RELAX20 for 20% off. Register at eventbrite.com/e/sound-waves-a-sound-bath-series-tickets-1987162784381
