WHY: CEO of Irvine-based nonprofit aimed at ending relationship violence. Has led the organization since 2006, expanding services to make Human Options one of the most comprehensive domestic violence service providers in OC. Brings more than 30 years of experience working with vulnerable populations.
IN THE NEWS: In 2025, launched three key initiatives to expand its impact. The Survivor Advisory Council empowers survivors to shape programs, policy and advocacy, helping drive funding support and awareness. Courage Over Comfort, a live podcast series, features candid conversations with survivors and experts to reduce stigma around relationship violence. Humanity in Action is a volunteer-driven movement that mobilizes the community through service, outreach and collaboration to support survivors and promote safer, stronger communities. Says the new “initiatives place survivor voices at the center, deepen empathy, and mobilize collective action to address relationship violence.”
NOTABLE: Serves on boards of Hoag Hospital, OneOC, Blue Shield of California Foundation, the Institute for Community Impact and Orange County’s Continuum of Care governing board. Member of the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. Co-chairs the Orange County Domestic Violence Death Review Team. Certified Fund-Raising Executive. Nominated for the Business Journal’s Innovator of the Year Award in 2023 and a Women in Business Award in 2021.
