Scene and Seen: Pacific Symphony Opening Night Concert and Celebration

More than 225 music lovers celebrated the Pacific Symphony’s season kickoff and raised $300,000 to help fund the organization’s programs. A duet performance of Mozart’s Violin and Piano Sonata in B-flat Major, K. 454 (Largo-Allegro) by violinist Madalyn Parnas-Möller and pianist David Kaplan delighted guests, as did the evening’s fresh and colorful cuisine, cocktails, and desserts.

It all began in the Samueli Theater, which was adorned in jewel-toned florals and shimmering gold accents, then continued with the first concert of the Hal and Jeanette Segerstrom Family Foundation Classical Series. A reception in the Box Circle Club was held during intermission, and then guests enjoyed a post-concert party back in the Samueli Theater.

The symphony presents more than 100 concerts and events each year and provides education and community engagement programs attended by some 300,000 residents of all ages.
