Commercial Development Resources (CDR) is entering its next phase of growth, appointing 20-year veteran Brendan Farrell as Chief Operating Officer.
CDR is a national land development services platform, PE Licensed in 25 states, trusted by brands including Habit Burger, 7 Brew Coffee, Dutch Bros, AutoNation, and many of Southern California’s leading corporate real estate teams, developers, and architects.
Farrell joins CDR from AO, an ENR Top-50 architecture firm, where he served as Vice President of Operations during a period of sustained expansion. Prior to AO, he held senior leadership roles at SAA Interiors + Architecture and Imagination International, building and scaling multi-office international teams and strengthening operational performance across complex, project-based organizations.
As COO, Farrell oversees firmwide operations across civil engineering, dry utilities, landscape architecture, and planning and permitting. His mandate includes advancing governance as the firm matures, enhancing service delivery, and maintaining disciplined margin performance as CDR scales.
He partners closely with Founder and CEO Aaron Albertson within a Visionary/Integrator leadership model.
CDR continues to build on its deep expertise in retail, automotive and restaurants, growing its portfolio in industrial, critical power and data center infrastructure and broader national markets
