On the Move: TGR Foundation Names Hrag Hamalian Chief Executive Officer

TGR Foundation announced the appointment of Hrag Hamalian as its Chief Executive Officer.

Hamalian has served as president of TGR Learning Labs and national programs for TGR Foundation since October 2023, overseeing all education programming across the organization while leading the successful scaling of its TGR Learning Labs by refining a more sustainable and replicable operating model designed for multi-site growth.

A nationally recognized education leader and social impact entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience serving K-12th grade students across Sothern California, Hamalian has built and scaled mission-driven organizations at the intersection of education, workforce development, technology, and economic mobility.

As CEO, Hamalian will guide the next phase of TGR Foundation’s expansion while deepening impact for students from under-resourced communities in Orange County and beyond, with new TGR Learning Labs scheduled to open over the next two years in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Augusta, Georgia.

Established by Tiger Woods in 1996, TGR Foundation’s mission is to empower students to pursue their passions through education. Since opening the flagship TGR Learning Lab Anaheim in 2006, the Foundation has served more than 217,000 students from under-resourced communities nationwide through its safe and inspiring Learning Labs and innovative education programs.
